Sublimation Instructions
-
Step 1: Print Design
Use an ink-jet printer with sublimation ink to print your design in mirror-image on sublimation paper.
-
Step 2: Position Paper
Place the printed sublimation paper onto the desired substrate (e.g., fabric, mug, metal).
-
Step 3: Heat Press
Apply heat and pressure according to the Application Chart for the specified time using a heat press machine.
-
Step 4: Cool & Review
Remove the substrate and let it cool, then peel off the sublimation paper to reveal the transferred design!

Sublimation Transfer Printing:
Print images and text on sublimation paper using an ink-jet printer with sublimation ink. Heat to about 200°C to transfer the ink from the paper to materials like textiles, ceramics, metals, and glass through vaporization.
Application:
- Chemical fiber
- Polyester blends with less than 40% cotton
- High-temperature resistant coated glass, ceramics, metal, wood, and more
Storage:
Keep away from water, moisture, fire, and strong light (store sealed).
Usage Tips:
- Use only sublimation ink (disperse dyes).
- Adjust color density to prevent excess ink and ensure proper drying.
- Optimal transfer temperature: 180-230°C for 30-60 seconds. Test for best settings.
- Ensure close contact between heat-pressed surfaces during transfer.
- Use appropriate transfer equipment for different materials and shapes.
