Instructions for sublimation paper

Sublimation transfer printing:

Use the ink-jet printer equipped with sublimation ink to print the pictures and texts such as portraits, landscapes, and text on the sublimation paper in the way of mirror-image reversal, and then heat it to about 200 ℃ through the heat transfer equipment. The sublimation ink on the sublimation paper will penetrate into the substrate in the form of vaporization so as to vividly transfer the image and color on the paper to textiles, porcelain cups, porcelain plates, metals, wooden board, glass products, and other materials.

  1. Scope of application: chemical fiber, the polyester blended fabric contains less than 40% cotton, and hard, high-temperature resistant coated glass, ceramics, metal, wood, and other materials.
  2. Storage conditions: Avoid water, moisture, fire and strong light (seal up when it is not in use).
  3. Make sure to use it with sublimation ink.

Be sure to use sublimation inks; inks made with disperse dyes that sublime and dye the substrate at transfer temperatures. Good dye-sublimation ink is not easy to block the nozzle, the color is vivid, and the stability is good.

  1. Adjust the appropriate color density.

Adjust the color density in the computer to avoid the situation where the ink is too much and not easy to dry. After adjustment, you need to check the effect of thermal transfer.

  1. Adjust the appropriate heat pressing temperature and time.

The temperature range of thermal transfer is about 180-230'C, and the time is about 30-60 seconds. Before the formal mass transfer, a small test should be done to determine the best process parameters.

  1. The heat pressing surface must be close to each other during heat transfer.

During the thermal transfer, the heat-pressed surface, transfer paper, and substrate surface must be close to each other, and there should be no gaps. Otherwise, the transfer image and text will be blurred.

  1. Items of different materials and shapes need to be operated with corresponding transfer equipment.
